#Day-01 Traditional  vs Modern aps

In this session, I explored:

1. Traditional deployment challenges: Multiple environments (Dev → Test → Prod) Issues like “It works on my machine”, missing dependencies, and environment Misconfiguration

2. Why Containers?:
Package application code, dependencies, libraries, and OS image together
Ensure environment consistency across Dev, Test, and Prod
Lightweight, isolated, and scalable

3. Docker Workflow:
Dockerfile -> Docker Image -> Docker Container -> Docker Registry
Build once, ship anywhere, run anywhere

4. Containers vs Virtual Machines:
VMs = full house (heavy, slower, resource intensive)
Containers = apartment in shared building (lightweight, fast, efficient)

Key takeaway:
Containers with Docker simplify deployment, improve developer-ops collaboration, and optimize resource usage.

Environment VMware vRealize Automation 8.x Cause This issue has been identified where the problem appears when a single column Multi Value Picker or Data Grid is used. Resolution This is a known issue. There is a workaround.  Workaround: As a workaround, try adding one empty column in the Multivalue picker without filling the options. So we can add one more column without filling the value which will be hidden(there is a button in the designer page that will hide the column). This way the end user will receive the same view.
