 Attached disk of Onboarding VM was Missing or removed from Aria Automation deployment topology

Issue/Introduction

  • Disk detach was failed from Onboarded VM with "Internal server error", Disk went "Missing" status and removed on deployment topology after Data Collection of vSphere cloud account.

Environment

Aria Automation 8.xx

Resolution

  1. Use Day 2 action "unregister" to Unregister the Onboarded VM from Deployment
  2. After couple of Minutes, VM will be shown in Discovered state. 
  3. Onboard the VM again Tutorial: Onboarding and managing vSphere resources in VMware Aria Automation then will add the attached disks to the Deployment topology
