 Update DNS Assignment for Aria Automation failed

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

  • trying to change the configured DNS server for Aria Automation failed with error

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

When configuring a new DNS server the DNS server will be validated for forward and reverse DNS lookup, when the validation failed the command will fail.

Resolution

Validate the new DNS server to be configured has forward and reverse entries for each Aria Automation node and load balancer address.
